Wife. Teacher. Student. Crafter. Aspiring Blogger.
I was born and raised in Georgia...where the tea is sweet and accents are sweeter. Georgia, the only state where you will experience all four seasons in one day.
I’m happily married to my best friend, Clint. We have been together for almost 10 years! We will be celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary this year.
Clint and I have one fur baby who is spoiled rotten. His name is Baxter, and he’s a chocolate lab. Clint adopted him when he was a puppy, and he has stolen our hearts ever since!
I spend most of my day doing what I love the most...TEACHING!
This is my fourth year teaching. This year, I am teaching first grade.
Last October, I made the decision to go back to school. I’m a graduate student at Walden University specializing in Elementary Reading and Literacy. I will graduate with my Master’s degree in 2018! I have four classes left in the program.
Lastly, I launched this blog to rekindle my love for writing. I’ve spent countless hours writing grad school discussions and research papers. Now, it’s time to write for pure enjoyment!
